Croatia is the densest charter cruising ground on the Adriatic — over a thousand islands, a thousand kilometres of mainland coast and a marina network that lets you change harbour every night. Most yachts in the Croatia Yachting fleet are based on the Dalmatian coast (Split, Trogir, Šibenik, Zadar, Dubrovnik), with smaller clusters in Istria (Pula) and the Kvarner Bay (Punat, Mali Lošinj).
The Croatian charter season runs from late April to early October. June and September are the sweet spot — long days, warm Adriatic sea, lower prices than peak July/August. Weekly charters start on Saturday in almost every Croatian marina, so plan your flights around a Saturday-to-Saturday window.
Bareboat sailboats and catamarans dominate the Croatian fleet, with motor yachts more common in Split and Dubrovnik and traditional gulets sailing out of Split, Šibenik and Dubrovnik. Skippered options are available on virtually every yacht; fully crewed luxury yachts with chef and hostess can be arranged on request.
Tell us your dates, your group and your sailing licence. The reply comes back from a Croatia Yachting broker within four working hours — not an auto-responder.
